Nicholas J. Krob is the 2022 Chair Elect for the LES Iowa ChapterMarch 14, 2022

MVS is excited to announce that MVS Intellectual property Attorney, Nicholas J, Krob, is the 2022 Chair Elect for the Licensing Executives Society (LES) Iowa Chapter. Nick has been actively involved in LES for several years and has spoken at a number of events around the state of Iowa. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department and practices in a variety of areas including trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights, intellectual property licensing, and business entity formation. Nick’s practice is value-driven and centered around helping individuals and organizations of any size to effectively protect and monetize their assets and innovations, whether through government filings, litigation, contracts, or otherwise. His experience spans across various industries, with clients ranging from non-profit foundations to restaurants to tech companies.

Nick enjoys giving back to the community and has been recognized for his contributions, including the Drake Law School Alumni Service Award. He is currently the coach of the Drake Law School Intellectual Property Moot Court team. Additionally, he volunteers for Meals on Wheels and is actively involved in Central Iowa Coed Soccer.

What is the LES Iowa Chapter? It is one of over 35 LES Chapters in LES (USA & Canada), Inc.  The Iowa Chapter, under the direction of the Chapter Leadership, hold regular meetings throughout the state. LES members and other expert speakers present topics relevant to technology transfer and licensing. MVS attorney, Jill N. Link, Pharm.D., is one of the founding members of the LES Iowa Chapter and a former chair of the organization.
