MVS HELPS SECURE WIN IN PATENT CASE AGAINST DEERE & CO.December 20, 2013 MVS and co-counsel from Jenner & Block secured a complete defense win for Duroc, LLC, the predecessor to Bush Hog, Inc., in a patent infringement suit brought by Deere & Co. The verdict was announced on December 19, 2013, after a 14-day jury trial before Judge Charles R. Wolle in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa, Davenport Division. The jury found that Duroc and the other defendants did not infringe Deere & Co.�s rotary cutter patent and that the patent is invalid, rejecting Deere�s request for up to approximately $50 million in damages from the defendants.
