ISU to hold first Tech Transfer Conference

Entrepreneurs, business leaders of small high tech companies, small manufacturers, large manufacturers and university researchers will want to mark June 5 on their calendars to attend Iowa State University's first Small Business Innovation Resource (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR). These two programs combined provide a $2 billion resource for small businesses During this first year conference, the agenda will focus on Partnerships for Innovation in Manufacturing. Conference sessions will include an \'SBIR/STTR 101\' overview, manufacturing opportunities in the SBIR/STTR programs and universities as resources. Additionally, awards will be given to Iowa companies that have received SBIR or STTR funding and that have demonstrated distinctive innovation and commercialization success .For more information or to register, log on to
