Intellectual Property Attorney Glenn Johnson Joins McKee, Voorhees & Sease PLCJanuary 27, 2020

Des Moines, Iowa, January 27, 2020 – MVS is excited to announce that Glenn Johnson, a highly experienced and successful litigator, has joined the firm. Glenn, who is a registered patent attorney with an undergraduate background in biology and chemistry, will build on the long tradition of litigation experience and expertise that has been the hallmark of MVS.

Glenn will join MVS’s litigation team and will provide assistance, direction, and counseling to MVS clients in helping them protect and defend their IP rights in the ever-changing scientific and economic environment. As an experienced trial lawyer, Glenn has tried dozens of jury trials including, patent infringement, trademark infringement, commercial and employment cases to verdict. He has also been involved with federal multi-district litigation involving five patents that embroiled the ethanol industry for years. Glenn is licensed to practice law in Iowa, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Glenn’s experience has provided substantial insight into how juries perceive corporate and business actions and related legalities.

Prior to joining MVS, Glenn practiced at an Iowa-based law firm and served in the Linn County Attorney’s Office as both a prosecutor for the criminal division and head of the civil division. He is a member of the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers.
