Drake Intellectual Property (IP) Law Center Spring CLEMarch 24, 2016 Several McKee, Voorhees & Sease Attorneys will be attending the Drake Intellectual Property Law Center CLE March 24th & 25th. MVS has a long history of supporting Drake University Law School. Several Attorneys serve as adjunct professors teaching IP classes, MVS mentors and sponsors Drake students in the National IP moot court competition, and MVS also funds and IP law scholarship that is awarded each year to a law student who wants to practice in Intellectual Property. As part of its mission the Center provides an annual roundtable discussion/seminar to explore theoretical, practical and current issues in Intellectual Property. Day one includes presentations from two former judges from the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences, including the Former Chief Judge Honorable James Smith. Day two is focused exclusively on Agricultural IP, with MVS’s own Heidi Nebel speaking on IP protection of plants. ← Return to News & Events
