Biotech attorney chosen for boardApril 22, 2004

Lila A.T. Akrad has been selected to serve on the W.L. Brown Center Advisory Board the group that oversees the William L.Brown Center for Plant Genetic Resources – a research group of the Missouri Botanical Center. The center’s research focuses primarily on study and conservation of useful plants for medicinal uses, nutrition and management of natural resources. The Advisory Board also administers the William L. Brown Award for Plant Genetic Resource Conservation, advises educational efforts within the center and provides guidance on long-range planning and fund-raising.
